Working Group Logistics meets at ContiTech

This year's meeting of the Logistics Working Group took place on April 24th in Hanover at ContiTech. Many thanks to Lutz-Peter Lau and Peter Soluk for the invitation and their great hospitality.

In a lively discussion in the Continental Forum, the 17 logistics experts who attended the meeting dealt with current topics relating to the supply of spare parts in the Aftermarket. Automated transport systems, a shortage of skilled labour and measures to recruit employees were key points of the meeting.

After refreshments in the canteen, the group visited the European Distribution Centre in Langenhagen. The interesting tour of the logistics centre provided the participants with further insights.

The date and initial topics for next year's conference have already been agreed. The inviting company is still coordinating the location and setting for May 7th 2025. The first proposed topics are process mining, robots in logistics and the use of artificial intelligence.

As with all AAMPACT working groups, further participants are very welcome.
